The Trip kicks off at Ngwenya Glass with early morning Tea and Home Made Scones, watch glass blowers at work and purchase a memento of your truly African visit, from their well-stocked showroom. Everything is hand made from recycled glass at Africa’s most prestigious glass factory around.

Ngwenya Glass Complex, situated around the Factory, is a hub of curio and artifact shops, showcasing a superb collection of Swaziland’s finest handicrafts available at one venue.

Crafts ranging from wool carpets, bead work and jewelry, paintings, woodcarvings, stone work and basketry are on display.

Stop for Lunch at the Old Farmhouse Restaurant & Country Pub, then browse round the Art Galleries and Performance Arena, as well as:

Gone Rural:

International Award winning handmade Table and homemade Merchandises.

 

Boabab Batik:

For stunning Handmade Batik Products, Paintings and Fabrics.

 

House on Fire:

Art Gallery and Performance Arena, renowned for its eclectic style and artistic excellence, it is an incredible architectural achievement.

 

Swazi Candles Craft Centre:

Late afternoon Tea and Drinks, then end the days shopping spree at Swazi Candles which is a world famous candle factory and a  “must see”.Not only is there a stunning variety of thousands of handmade candles on display, but visitors are welcome to watch the candle making process in the adjoining workshop.

Swazi Sense is a new product range of Swazi Candles. Soaps are handmade with pure vegetable glycerin, fragrance oils, infused with herbal extracts and all natural additives like Rooibos, Marula, Chamomile etc. are soft, suitable for all skin types and good for your soul.

Hand weavers of designer knitwear, table runners, wall hangings, blankets, cushions, throws, bags, ponchos, scarves and shawls from pure natural fibers of mohair, cotton, bamboo and banana silks.
